Weekend Light Reading: July 4

die-hard-original

Patriotism edition (not really)!! I’ve actually had this post queued up for ooooooh two weeks now, but couldn’t be bothered to write an intro, apparently. GOOD WORK KRISTEN. Psh, work isn’t even that busy and I don’t have any freelance jobs at the moment. No excuses.

I hope everyone has fantastic plans for the fourth. In my head I am drinking with friends on a houseboat we rented. In reality, it’s supposed to rain here due to a tropical storm brewing on the coast, and I don’t really have that many friends. I may pop over to Rockaway to knock another thing off the bucket list, before celebrating Leanne’s birthday on the 5th! I have scheduled nothing for the following day before 4pm in preparation. Have a good one, everyone.

I always love a good cat lady, especially one from Vogue with no eyebrows.

A look inside chef’s fridges

I was never really team Hartnett (I was SS – strictly Sawa), but I really dig Penny Dreadful and hope it sticks around.

Rob Lowe is literally a fantastic writer.

I love football and I love this.

Is this success of craft beer watering down the term?

I broke down and cried on the last page, but I’ve been overly emotional the last few weeks or so.

Don’t lie; you know these are true.
