Didn’t I Know You?

I suppose some apologies are in order, although I have a feeling that anyone who read East Bay Burbs knows that I cannot be trusted. I didn’t post anything here in August. I don’t really know why. I mean, I have my excuses. I was trying to find work. I moved to Astoria and had a roommate I went out with (hi Mo!). I had TV again (probably the biggest culprit). Dom came to visit for a week and we went to Boston and Provincetown and met Jesse McCartney and how is he still a thing? I started a full-time internship for a few weeks, and I landed Esquire. I was looking for an apartment. See? Excuses.

I could also make some promises. I could promise to do better. I could promise to blog more. But, with Esquire, plus freelance writing for Scoutmob, copywriting for Viator starting soon, and freelance fact-checking when I can pick it up, promises, shmomises. But now that I’ve landed a job (at least until January), got accepted into an apartment, and set a date to move my stuff, things might be getting real bloggy over here. Or maybe I’ll just keep practicing the dance routine I learned during a cardio dance class that focused on reggae, since I need all the help I can get. One day this will be a place about travel again, both local and not so local. One day I’ll learn to be a better blogger. Probably. Hopefully. (Maybe.)
