April Playlist

Don’t even think about the fact that it’s April 4 and I never posted my March playlist. Just don’t. Also, don’t think about the fact that it’s only Thursday, too. I can’t even wrap my head around the fact that it’s not Friday yet. It’s felt like Friday since Tuesday. Instead of thinking about any of that, listen to this playlist instead. It’s been a labor of love. Or just listening to music all day while I write. One of those. I’ve had a list of songs that aren’t available on Spotify, so I threw in a few here. I highly recommend you give them a click if you like nice things for your ears.

Somewhere in here it takes a turn for the mellow, and I just can’t explain it. Everything I listened to this month seemed to want to be all fuzzy and springy, when all I want to listen to is Luda. Which I also can’t explain.

  1. Flume: Holdin’ On
  2. The Kills: U.R.A Fever
  3. Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Sacrilege. please please please watch the amazing video.
  4. Said the Whale: Loveless
  5. Wild Child: The Tale of You & Me
  6. Lucius: Turn it Around
  7. Chic Gamine: Days and Days
  8. James Blake: Retrograde
  9. Sean Rowe: Joe’s Cult
  10. Spiritualized: Baby I’m Just a Fool
  11. Emma Louise: Boy
  12. Killer Mike: Untitled
  13. Air Review: America’s Son
  14. Milo Greene: Don’t You Give Up on Me
  15. Rhye: Open
  16. Sarah Jaffe: Clementine
  17. Haley Bonar: Bad Reputation
  18. Newton Faulkner: Gone in the Morning (ugh, he has dreadlocks)
  19. Firehorse: If You Don’t Want to Be Alone
  20. Peggy Sue: Lover Gone
